Axis Dress: A Love Affair

If you follow me on instagram then you know t I love the Axis Dress by Papercut Patterns. I’ve made four already! From the front it looks like a simple shift dress, but when you turn around the back bodice criss-crosses, creating a V in the back (I LOVE a good V-back) and wraps around to tie in the front. Simple with a twist. What’s not to love?!

Eloise Headband

Named after the spunky girl who lives in the “room on the tippy-top floor” of the Plaza Hotel in New York City with her nanny, her pug dog, Weenie, and her turtle, Skipperdee.

The Eloise Headband is a rigid headband, which uses the support of a metal or plastic headband for structure and fit. View A has a band in the center. View B has a knot in the center.

This is a great pattern for scrap busting! Play around with adding a layer of batting to your headband for extra drama!

No glue is needed to make this headband.
